1. Navigate to the Teams Section: In your workspace top navigation bar (alongside Overview, Boards, Trends, Integrations, MCP connections, Billing), click on Teams.
2. Review the Teams Directory: View the header: Teams (subtitled: "Create and manage teams for collaborative retrospectives"). If no teams have been created yet, an illustrated prompt indicates: "No teams yet. Create a team to start collaborating with your colleagues".
3. Click Create Team: In the upper right corner of the page, click the black + Create team button.
4. Define Team Details: In the team creation modal, enter your team's squad name (e.g., Frontend Core, Payments Squad, DevOps), write a concise purpose description, and select default team settings.
5. Save New Team: Confirm creation to add the squad to your workspace directory, unlocking team-scoped boards, member rosters, and filtered retrospective history.
