Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Navigate to Trends: Click the Trends tab in the main dashboard navigation (/dashboard/trends).
2. Review the Empty State: If no reports have been generated yet, view the prompt: Your next insight starts with a retrospective. Open a board you own and generate its trend analysis. Reports will appear here so you can compare themes, sentiment, and next steps.
3. Navigate to an Owned Board: Click the black button Go to your boards -> or select a board from /dashboard/boards.
4. Generate Trend Report: Within your board workspace, switch to the board-level Trends tab and trigger report generation.
5. Refresh Dashboard View: Return to /dashboard/trends and click the Refresh button in the top right corner to view the updated cross-retro findings.

Expected Outcome

Historical retrospective insights are consolidated into high-level analytical overviews that highlight continuous improvement trajectories over sprints.

Troubleshooting & Realistic Tips

• Trend analyses can only be generated on boards you own. If the option is unavailable on a specific retro, check that your role is marked as Owner in Board Settings > Members.
