How do I find, filter, and reopen an existing board?

Locate past retrospectives using search filters, status dropdowns, board access codes, and scope tabs.

Problem This Solves

Locate past retrospectives using search filters, status dropdowns, board access codes, and scope tabs.

When to Use This

Sign in to LetRetro and have at least one created or joined board in your workspace.

Prerequisites

  • Sign in to LetRetro and have at least one created or joined board in your workspace.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Navigate to Boards: In the top navigation bar, click the Boards tab (/dashboard/boards).
  2. Select Workspace Scope: Choose between All boards, Created by me, or Joined tabs to narrow the list.
  3. Search by Name: Enter text into the Search boards... input to immediately locate boards by title.
  4. Filter by Status: Use the status dropdown (All statuses) to filter between active boards (In progress) and completed sessions (Done).
  5. Sort Order: Use the sort dropdown to order boards by Newest first or other available sorting preferences.
  6. Open or Share Code: On the board card, click Copy code to copy the join code to your clipboard, or click Open -> to enter the board workspace.

Expected Outcome

You can quickly find past boards, view their metadata (creation date, member capacity, status), and open them for review or continuation.

Troubleshooting & Realistic Tips

  • If a board you expect to see is missing, check the top toggle: make sure you are not filtering for Canvas boards while looking for a Retro board, or vice versa.
